Atlas V rocket is launched tomorrow with NASA's LCRD system after the last update. Watch live
Last UPDATE: Due to a leak of a ground propulsion system from the RP-1 fuel installed on the rocket, the new launch date is: December 6, 2021 (one day late), keeping the same time.
More about the mission (from the old articles):
The United Launch Alliance (ULA) will launch the Atlas V rocket, built with the help of ESA and NASA. The launch is scheduled now for Monday, December 6, 2021, at 4:04 a.m. EST, according to NASA and also NASA will broadcast the entire launch procedure starting at 3:30 a.m. EAST. Atlas V will also carry important satellites into space, including the long-awaited LCRD system. This system will be able to establish 10 times better laser connections and the transmission of information between NASA and astronauts.
More about this system can be found here: https://www.bailey-universe.com/l/lcrd-system-will-be-launched-in-5-days-by-nasa-find-here-the-latest-details-about-the-mission/
The launch will take place at Space Launch Complex 41, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. It will also carry a kind of mission, STP-3, which has a lot of tasks that will help the US Space Forces. Rocket measures about 60 meters and has 5 engines that will help it to move better in space. Atlas V is considered by ESA and NASA to be one of the most important missiles and perhaps even famous. It has also been used for other missions, including sending Perseverance and Curiosity rovers to Mars, but also for launching other successful missions.
In addition to the satellite with the LCRD system, there is another for some American purposes. In addition, the National Nuclear Safety Administration will also send a space system through this rocket that will detect possible nuclear detonations from there. There will also be a satellite in the rocket, called LDPE-1, which is designed for new and future technologies that it will test.
We wish success to the space agencies and all those who contributed to the creation of rockets, satellites, and high-performance systems in it.
