NASA postponed undocking for Axiom Mission I due to bad weather.

According to an announcement, NASA, SpaceX, and Axiom Space have chosen to reschedule the undocking for Axiom Mission I for 20:55. EDT on Sunday, April 24, 2022, when it will be decoupled from the ISS (International Space Station).

The decision was made due to the strong winds in the place where the Axiom Mission I splashdown on Earth must be.

Thus, if the weather is good, the hatch will close at 6:45 p.m., following the Ax-1 crew to be brought to Earth by the SpaceX Dragon Endeavor with a splashdown on the coast of Florida around 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 25.

More news will come tomorrow, April 24, 2022.
