In the sky of South Africa, some objects were seen traveling with great speed, like meteorite. See here

The year 2021 has really flown by. Everyone was waiting for the new 2022 and finally, everyone has entered 2022. Welcome to 2022! Recently, a person caught in South Africa how an object or more precisely, two objects fell to Earth, with a dizzying speed. Those pieces first looked like meteorites or even slightly larger space rocks. However, the first conclusion drawn by the people of South Africa was that these flying pieces could probably be just some space debris that has entered the atmosphere.

No wonder there may be space debris. Lately, a lot has happened in space that has led to the creation of space debris, in very large quantities. For example, the satellite shot down by Russia with an anti-satellite rocket, much criticized by the Americans. But the Americans didn't do well either. After a while, a piece of a very old satellite of theirs was to collide with the ISS (International Space Station). The Chinese space station was about to collide with Elon Musk's Starlink satellites launched by SpaceX.

So, we shouldn't be surprised that a satellite is probably smaller or some space debris has fallen. It remains to be seen what it really was. In any case, after these pieces have traveled a long distance, they have disintegrated in the Earth's atmosphere. They couldn't even fall to Earth. It can be seen from the image that these pieces are very small and it was obvious that they will disintegrate.
