Breaking news! The black hole in the center of our galaxy has just thrown a jet of flames. NASA said. See here
Breaking news comes from NASA experts: The black hole in the center of our galaxy, considered a "sleeping monster", has thrown a powerful flame into the Universe. It is probably one of the only times when NASA is so lucky to study this thing. The black hole (Sagittarius A *) in the center of the galaxy, is very large and was considered until now, a "sleeping monster", ie without paying attention to some things or phenomena it does.
NASA experts believe that this phenomenon appeared after the black hole absorbed a very large amount of matter, like a cloud of gas, thus throwing a jet of cosmic material. This new observation is based on a study by a team of researchers and scientists (including astronomers) led by Professor Gerald Cecil of the University of Northern California.
According to the team, they put together each new observation in the area, any wavelength, the variation of certain phenomena and many other things and phenomena that happened. After putting them together and doing a lot of other research, they came to the conclusion that the black hole was more active than usual, splashing to one side a jet of cosmic material, collected over time. All the data that the researchers received came from various telescopes, such as Hubble, Chandra and a few other smaller ones.
But even though they (telescopes) provided so much data that they helped the scientists come to a conclusion, they could not capture by images the moment when the black hole threw flames. These phenomena happen every thousand years, but maybe we will have the chance to capture these phenomena once again and this time with images.
"The interpretation of this situation is that we are dealing with a jet of cosmic material that was pushed out of the black hole about 2000 years ago. It is further proof that this cosmic structure, which has a mass 4.1 million times the mass of the Sun, is not a sleeping monster, but has regular activity, as it absorbs gases and stars, "said NASA specialists.
