China's space station was about to collide with Elon Musk's Starlink satellites. China and Elon Musk are "in conflict." Yes, Elon Musk's satellites called Starlink were about to collide with the Chinese Space Station, or more precisely, the Chinese space station was about to collide with Starlink satellites. China is in a kind of "conflict" with Elon Musk, because this has not happened once, but several times. In addition, in order to avoid a possible collision, the Chinese space station had to perform risky maneuvers in Earth orbit. China has also submitted a document to the NU office for space problems.

In the document sent by China to the UN, it indicates that the Chinese space station had to perform two very dangerous maneuvers on July 1, 2021 and October 21, 2021. "For safety reasons, the Chinese Space Station has preventively activated its collision avoidance control system," the Chinese authorities said in a document published on the UN Bureau's website. SpaceX, also a company of Elon MSUK that launches these satellites, has not yet commented on this situation and has not responded to the request regarding her (the company's) point of view. In any case, the biggest problems are these satellite avoidance maneuvers. Especially since, in addition to the two and in the last month, there have been some slightly smaller maneuvers to avoid these satellites, not being dangerous.

But after big problems, small problems start. More Chinese people have written on social networks all sorts of comments saying that Starlink satellites are nothing and many other offensive comments on SpaceX's Starlink address, including Elon Musk. For example, one of the comments written by a Chinese man says that Starlink satellites are "American space war weapons". or another put the satellites as "just a bunch of space debris." Such comments are constantly multiplying on Chinese social networks, but also on American ones, such as facebook, twitter or even instagram.

In any case, there are already many Starlink satellites in Earth orbit. It is true, however, that these satellites are making great strides, and Elon Musk's plan to have the Internet everywhere in the world is working very well. They are approx. 1900 satellites that transmit data from space, and their number is growing and we can expect that next year we will have an approach of 3000 Starlink satellites in space or even exceed this number. So far it is estimated that they are approx. 30,000 satellites in space, of which almost 2,000 are Stralink satellites. This means that approx. 6.5% of satellites in Earth orbit are Starlink satellites.

Elon Musk tweeted that the orbits of some of the Starlink satellites had been altered, after NASA also had problems with some spacecraft due to these satellites.

We wish success to the Chinese Space Station and hope that there will be no major accidents involving people. And we hope that SpaceX will solve these problems as soon as possible.
