Breaking news! NASA will launch a spacecraft to an asteroid worth approx. $ 10,000 Quadrillion. Asteroid is called 16 Psyche, and the ship will be launched in 2022. The asteroid is worth so much, because it is very rich in metals, especially precious, it also has gold, but mostly iron and nickel and is in the well-known asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. A belt where the dwarf planet Ceres is located. It is not known exactly where this asteroid has so much gold and metals on it, especially nickel and iron.

The fact that it has these metals, many researchers think could be part of a nucleus of a former planet or dwarf planet, this would lead to the fact that there were several planets in the Solar System. Besides that this asteroid can make everyone a billionaire, it can also show a perspective on how the Earth or other planets or dwarf planets in the Solar System formed. It's something to explore on that asteroid, because it's 140 miles wide. But even if the probe will be launched in 2022, it will reach the asteroid in 2026, it's a little 4 years, but it must be understood, because it has a pretty long way to go. This space probe was named Psyche after this asteroid.

But is this the only asteroid of this kind or why is it so sought after?

The answer is: no, it's not the only one, but scientists say that metal asteroids are very rare and few in the Solar System. inside a planet or dwarf planets. And as all space probes do, they must be prepared beforehand, so this probe will be tested. Mainly it's almost ready but there are a few more details to add. Then it will be taken to a kind of room called JPL, and there she will see how the turbulence or other phenomena in space are, to see if she is ready to go into space.

One of the study's researchers, Lindy Elkins-Tanton of Arizona State University, the lead leader of the psychic mission, said: "The sight of this large spacecraft chassis arriving at JPL from Maxar is one of the most exciting -I experimented in what has already been a 10-year journey. The construction of this complex, precision engineering piece in the year of COVlD is absolutely a triumph of determination and human excellence ".

This mission is one of the only ones that could go on a metallic asteroid and will of course be a new step forward for humanity to discover space.

We wish success to NASA, researchers and scientists, the space probe and everyone working on this mission to make this mission as successful as possible and to get to the asteroid as soon as possible.
