Kathy Lueders, NASA's Leading human spaceflight operational program as the Associate Administrator of the Space Operations Mission Directorate announced that Crew 3 will undock from the International Space Station around 1:05 am, Thursday, May 5, 2022.

After separating from the space station, Crew 3 will make a splashdown off of the Florida coast around 12:37 am, Friday, May 6, 2022.

The decision is not final, because according to Kathy, NASA will review the weather ahead with 24 hours of undocking in order to confirm that the crew can return safely to Earth.

The decision to make the undocking on May 5 and the splashdown on May 6 was made by both SpaceX and NASA.
