Breaking news!

The ship Chandrayaan-2, which has 8 cargoes for scanning and important scientific data on board, carried out scientific observations on the surface of the Moon.

These were done by remote sensing and in situ techniques, ISRO said today. Also, today, September 6, marks two years since the launch and inauguration of Chandrayaan-2.

Secretary Dos (Sivan) said all the data, whether scientific or just mapping of the moon, had been put together and was expected to be studied in detail by scientists and researchers.

This was confirmed even by ISRO: "Scientific data are made available for analysis by academia and institutes, for greater participation in order to bring more science out of the Chandrayaan-2 mission."

The ship also makes observations about lunar science, which will be studied by scientists at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru and Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.

This ship was successfully launched on September 6, 2019 and its purpose is to be able to capture images from the Moon, scientific data with the 8 payloads and also, Lunar science, cartography.

All this will be studied in detail by those from ISRO, Dos, Oman and scientists.

We wish success to everyone to be able to discover as much as possible about the Moon and also, we wish success to the ship to be able to get as much data as possible.
