NASA makes major progress ahead of Artemis I launch. The space agency is working hard to test and install the instrumentation. In this regard, NASA is preparing for the final tests that will begin as soon as possible. For example, the Artemis I rehearsal test should begin next month, and NASA hopes there will be no delays.

Recently, teams from the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) at NASA Kennedy Space Centerteam installed the rocket flight completion system and worked on the first two-part system test. This system is very important and used by Launch Delta 45 to terminate the flight, if necessary. However, there are still systems to be installed and work to be completed. Some of the last tests will be wet rehearsal tests, where both the rocket and the spacecraft systems will be checked.

Once the wet rehearsal tests are ready, NASA engineers will bring the spacecraft and the rocket back to the VAB, where the final tests will be performed, including the second part of the completion system test, checks and inspections. After that, Artemis I is ready to launch!

The Space Launch System (SLS) and the Orion spacecraft will be analyzed by engineers, including along the 4-mile route to the 39B Launch Complex Center. Also, all the systems will be checked at the same time, for the first time all in one place, on the ground. "The team is also working to inspect and install thermal blankets on the base engine section." says NASA.

Another test that NASA wants to do is flight termination system test to intentionally power up the Orion spacecraft (there will be no risk of takeoff), and then close the spacecraft's hatch after it is extinguished.

We hope that Artemis I will be ready to launch as soon as possible and we wish NASA success!
